Sutradara "Star Track" dan juga "Star Wars" - J. J. Abrams kali ini sibuk mengejar peluncuran film berjudul "Mission: Impossible 5", namun kali ini J.J,. Abrams berada sebagai produser. "Mission: Impossible 5" merupakan film bergenre action spy asal Amerika karya sutradara Christopher McQuarrie dan penulis naskah Drew Pearce dan Will Staples. Tom Cruise akan kembali muncul dalam film aksi ini yang berperan sebagai IMF Agent Ethan Hunt. Film yang diproduksi oleh Skydance Productions, Bad Robot Productions dan Cruise/Wagner Productions ini dijadwalkan muncul pada tanggal 25 Desember 2015 mendatang melalui Paramount Pictures.
