Juara dunia MotoGP Jorge Lorenzo akan start terdepan untuk pembuka musim MotoGP di Qatar hari Minggu setelah pembalap Yamaha tersebut menduduki puncak dalam kualifikasi Sabtu MotoGP 2013 Qatar. Lorenzo meraih pole 52 kali dalam karirnya dan ini kali ke tujuh di Losail. Grid Qatar motorcycling Grand Prix setelah kualifikasi
