Peminat perangkat Windows 8 semakin tinggi setidaknya menurut pejabat Microsoft, Toko online asal Amerika, Best Buy memutuskan untuk menggelar diskon khusus untuk semua pelanggan yang membeli perangkat touchscreen yang jalankan Windows 8.

Sampai hari Sabtu, 9 Maret semua klien Best Buy yang memilih Windows 8 komputer touchscreen juga akan menerima diskon $100 (€ 75) dan termasuk layar pembersih senilai $19,99 (€ 15), menurut sebuah pernyataan email perusahaan dibawah ini.

“Best Buy has found that customers who shop at Best Buy and purchase a Windows 8 touch-screen computing device tend to like the experience more (74%) than those using the software on a non-touch device (53%), given touch unlocks an entirely new way to interact with Windows 8 and makes the most out of the new operating system”.
